How To Create the Movie Theatre Experience In Your Own Home by Surf Pacific
Most people prefer watching movies in the comfort of their homes according to statistics. Maybe it is because they like their houses better than a theatre. Other reasons people prefer to watch movies at home can be attributed to overcrowding, noise and sometimes uncomfortable seating.
Some people have created their own home theatre rooms with home theatre curtains and all. You can create your own movie theatre too and watch whatever movie you want and at the same time, enjoy all the comforts of your own home.
There are some of the important things you need to make your own home theatre as enjoyable as possible, but also budget friendly. There are some factors to consider when creating your own movie theatre. These are some things that you may want to include:

· Masking tape
· Surround sound speakers
· Speaker cable
· Speaker mounting kits
· Movie screen
· Movie projector
· Theatre seats
· Lots of popcorn
With these supplies you are good enough to start making your new home movie theatre. If you happen to have a basement, it would be the best place to have the movie theatre room simply because of the location. The following are the steps you need to follow and within a few hours you will have your theatre in place.
1. Measure your room appropriately using your measuring tape as you mark the places you will be placing your various movie tools. Remember the speakers are going to be put at the front and also at the sides. Determine the distance depending on the size of your room and mark using the masking tape.
2. Put your blank screen in the front of the theatre knowing that the bigger your screen the further the seats have to be from it to ensure perfect viewing.
3. Use the projector to determine the location that the screen will look best and adjust appropriately. Once done, you can hang the media curtains to bring a theatre feeling.
4. If you already had the seats, you can adjust the front row accordingly in respect to the screen size to ensure that the front row people can see the screen well without being too close.
5. Mount the speakers together with the cabling in the front, back and sides. Ensure the cabling is done well to prevent tripping.
6. Place the popcorn and sodas strategically and there you have your low-budget movie theatre.
Adjust the lights such that you can switch to dim mode instead of turning them off completely. With that you can forget crowded theatres.

Maison Vol. 8 $16.98 The eighth compilation in the Kitsune label’s series of demi-label/scene samplers is called the “Chic and Nice” issue — and it would have been amusing if they had just gone for a bunch of Nile Rodgers/Bernard Edwards compositions. As it is, it’s an understandably enjoyable slice of the peppy put-it-all-together dance-for-blogging-fiends sounds the label happily encourages, a sound for the mashed-up descendants of the DFA, Daft Punk, Andrew W.K., and any number of similar strains of beat-friendly indie pop types. (Not for nothing does Franz Ferdinand’s Alex Kapranos make a guest appearance, remixing Chew Lips’ “Salt Air” by starting with a spare, haunted, yet strangely pretty slow burn shifting into a nervous, commanding stomp.) It might not be surprising in the end that songs like the Drums’ “Let’s Go Surfing” and Delphic’s “This Momentary” could themselves have come from a two-decade-earlier jam session between Unrest, Factory Records remixes, and Swedish dance-rock fiends — if there’s a sense of history repeating, what’s even more enjoyable is how these recombinations still feel firmly “now”, whether it’s in the unabashed kick of the beats or the sheer exuberance on display throughout. As might be expected, not everything fully connects, or otherwise fills in time without standing out from the crowd, such as enjoyable enough tracks by acts like Beni and Two Door Cinema Club, a new Kitsune signing that in the Moulinex remix of “I Can Talk” feels like an anthem not fully able to let go in the chorus. But while Memory Tapes’ “Bicycle” almost steals the show with a pitch perfect Robert Smith-in-1986 guitar break, Le Corps Mince de Francoise is the overall standout with “Something Golden,” which rides a “is it art, is it pop, is it dance? Sleep Through the Static $15.98 Much of the press surrounding the release of Sleep Through the Static recounted Jack Johnson’s claim that he gave all his peppy pop tunes over to the Curious George soundtrack and how that, combined with personal losses — including the death of his cousin Danny Riley, to whom the album is dedicated — led the surfing singer/songwriter into darker territory for his fifth album. To a certain extent, all of that is true, as the album does open with an atypically stark, moody number in “All at Once” and there are some darker sentiments lurking within the 14 songs here, but it takes some close listening to find the sorrow flowing through some of the words. Some very close listening, really, as Johnson’s sand-brushed, gentle voice doesn’t command attention. His voice lulls and soothes, so it takes concentrated effort to hear beyond his tone and hear what he’s actually saying. Then again, the meaning of Johnson’s music doesn’t matter as much as the mellow mood, a feeling that he’s sustained throughout his albums and doesn’t change here. Johnson may use more electric guitars than acoustics on Sleep Through the Static, but he’s strumming them like acoustics and his overall aesthetic has not changed at all: he’s still a laid-back guy singing songs that roll so easy they glide into the background. His skateboard team was a classic bunch of kids who performed state of the art maneuvers like riding a skateboard while covered by a trash can. would have been a good title for this program I did with Bud Palmer. It includes the first-ever surf trip to Japan, which I made in the summer of 1963, with Del Cannon and little Peter Johnson. The trip to Japan was made before Mike Hynson, Robert August and I made our world trip to make . When was finished, the Japan segment didn’t seem to fit and was left out.
